One drawback about being a reader with attention span issues is that I’m constantly going down a rabbit hole–what we call being an active reader 😆 In order to recall new information, I need to put it to work by making connections with information I already know. I sometimes do this by creating collections. My favorite tools for this are Airtable, Padlet, and Jamboard.
I decided to take my wonderings one step further by posting on my site for others to access and maybe even inspire to do the same. Two projects are on pause (organizations doing the work for liberation and a timeline for Black teacher organizations). I am actively working on a timeline of school desegregation in New Jersey.
